Jon Talbot and Dave Weixelman. Many newbie imagers learned a lot from Tony, Jon and Dave. We await patiently for the results of their work over the five dark nights!
|
Shad Smith and his awesome SV115 and SV80ED. We star tested all telescopes at DSSP and all had excellent results. Shad’s 115 gave a perfect, textbook star test.

Gordon and Dinah brought Angus, their beautiful and friendly Macaw again this year. Vic star tested the SV160 at DSSP and delivered it to Gordon who has been on the wait list a long time. That is when Gordon’s face stuck in this pose and it stayed that way for days. Just kidding Gordon - it is always terrific to be able to deliver high end products to our friends.

Lynn and Kathy Cook. Lynn works part time at Stellarvue assembling diagonals and finderscopes. As an avid golfer, Lynn was on Team Stellarvue during the golf tourney. It is fortunate that someone at Stellarvue knows how to golf! Lynn made us proud and Kathy was - as always - fun to visit with.

The hike was fun but the snow blocked the trail making it impossible to make it to the meadow where we thought we would see Bigfoot. So, a little disappointed, the hiking group returned to camp. Little did we know, Bigfoot would attack on the Telescope Field. After his appearance, we started to call him Bigwhack.

And as evening falls again, Stellarvuers get ready for the long dark night.

The next Dark Sky Star Party will take place in June, 2012. The program is booked at this time but if you would like to get on the standby list, call us at (530) 823-7796. We usually have a couple of cancellations per year for personal reasons so we maintain a standby list. We offer any vacancies that occur to people on the standby list on a first-come, first served basis.
