STELLARVUE TOP-RATED 50 MM FINDERSCOPES
This is our most popular and highly rated optical finderscope. Full multi-coatings on all optical surfaces, including the correct image erecting prism, increase contrast. It comes with our standard 50 degree 23mm fully multicoated crosshair eyepiece. This eyepiece has a focusing crosshair reticle and may be used with an illuminator available separately below. Includes our high resolution 50mm optical system, helical 1.25" focuser with rubber grip and correct image erecting prism.
Both finderscopes have a tube diameter of 54.5mm.

Stellarvue’s top rated 50mm Optical Finderscope - straight through viewing This is the straight through version of the F50M2 finderscope. It features the same 1 1/4" helical focuser as the F50M2 mounted in line with the light cone, eliminating the correct image erecting prism. This gives you the sharpest image and straight through viewing with an inverted image. It comes with our standard 50 degree 23mm fully multicoated crosshair eyepiece. Stellarvue Crosshair Illuminator
This illuminator will screw into any reticle eyepiece to provide you with a variable brightness red illumination on your crosshair. Vary the brightness to suit your preference. Knurled aluminum brightness knob and standard battery included.

Finderscope rings - with multi-use mounting base
This ring set comes with a quick release dovetail shoe that mounts directly to the Stellarvue clamshells using two screws. It also mounts to the Stellarvue dual speed focuser using a single screw. It does not mount to the 2” Feather Touch focuser since the Feather Touch does not have any mounting holes. This is the one to choose for mounting the finderscope to a Dobsonian telescope either on a flat board or to a strut tube. It is our lightest finderscope ring system.

Finderscope rings on dovetail stalk
Mounts to many dovetail shoes on the market including Stellarvue, Synta and others. The width of the foot at the bottom of the stalk measures about 1.21” (31 mm) maximum width and tapers to a width of about .82” (21 mm).

Finderscope rings for mounting to hinged rings
Use this ring set to mount your 50 mm or 60 mm finderscope to the top of a hinged mounting ring. Your telescope mounting rings must be 1” thick and have either a 1/4-20 or 6 mm threaded center hole. Most hinged rings have this.

Use this ring set with its high stalk for mounting our 50 - 60 mm finderscopes to a Stellarvue or Feather Touch 3” or 3.5” focuser. The base attaches to the focuser and the rings and stalk quickly disconnect for transport or storage.

Finderscope rings for mounting to flat or curved surfaces
Made to mount our 50 - 60 mm finderscopes. This has a shoe that mounts to any flat surface or to our clamshell. It will also mount to a tube over 4” in diameter. It can be mounted to a Celestron or Meade SCTs with a single attachment screw. For a more secure mounting to SCT’s use the R50SCT below.

Finderscope rings for mounting to Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes
Made to mount our 50 - 60 mm finderscopes. This has a bracket that attaches to the mirror cell on 8” and larger Celestron or Meade SCTs. A small dovetail shoe attaches to the bracket and the finder rings slide in and out of this shoe for easy, quick disconnect.

A Base
This is the same base used on the R50A. Mount this on a second telescope so your finderscope with rings attached can be quickly moved from one telescope to the other.

Camera Tripod Adapter
This is a square base with a 1-4”-20 threaded hole on the bottom. It mounts to any standard camera tripod and supports the finderscope ring system. This is the easiest way to place your finderscope on a camera tripod for use as a small, wide field telescope.
