Stellarvue 13x80mm Finderscope with Right Angle View

13X80mm finder with standard  reticle. Uses our high precision, fully multi-coated 80mm clear aperture F3.75 objective, baffled tube, rotating back (requires some finder re-alignment after  rotation), fully multi-coated correct image erecting prism, 1.25" helical  focuser, E3023R fully multi-coated eyepiece, and a focusing, glass reticle. Weighs only 2.5 pounds! (Mounting ring systems sold separately).

The 80mm finderscope has a tube diameter of 85mm.

Stellarvue 13x80mm Finderscope w/ Straight Through 2” Helical Focuser

This is a straight through version of the F80M2. Now you can use a finderscope in conjunction with auto guiders or mount a Nagler 22 to the telescope for stunning wide field views. This finder provides a straight through inverted image only. It will not work with a diagonal. The 2" helical focuser has a 1.25" adapter and our E3023R crosshair eyepiece that works with optional illuminators. For a true porthole view of the sky, use our 2" 26mm 68 degree crosshair reticle eyepiece

Unthread the rear (prism and 1.25"  focuser) and thread on a 2" helical focuser for straight through viewing with your 2" eyepieces. Get a porthole, wide field view or use the Stellarvue E7026R for a wide field view with reticle.

Stellarvue Crosshair  Illuminator 

This illuminator will screw into any reticle eyepiece to provide you with a variable brightness red illumination on your crosshair. Vary the brightness to suit your preference. Knurled aluminum brightness knob and batteries included. Uses two standard GPA76 batteries.

R80A: Finderscope rings - with multi-use mounting base

This ring set comes with a quick release dovetail shoe that mounts directly to the Stellarvue one piece cnc clamshell using two screws. This is the one to chose for mounting the finderscope to a Dobsonian telescope either on a flat board or to a strut tube. Used by many premier Dob manufactuers, it is our lightest finderscope ring system.

R80DA: Finderscope rings with high stalk for mounting to Stellarvue, Synta, GSO and other shoes

Mounts to many dovetail shoes on the market including Stellarvue, Synta and others. The width of the foot at the bottom of the stalk measures about 1.21” (31 mm) maximum width and tapers to a width of about .82” (21 mm).

R80E: Finderscope rings for mounting to hinged rings -

If you want to mount the R80 finderscope to one of your telescope’s dual mounting rings use this one. It has a center hole and a 1/4-20 and 6 mm screw for use with various 1” wide mounting rings on the market.

R80FA: Finderscope rings with high stalk for mounting to 2.5” - 3.0” Feather Touch focusers.

Made to mount our 80 mm finder scopes to our most commonly used Feather Touch focusers. This shoe also mounts to any flat surface or tube over 4” in diameter.

R80SCT: Finderscope rings for Meade and Celestron SCT's. Mounts to the mirror cell with two screws. This unit comes with everything needed except the attachment screws. Take the screws out of the mirror cell and determine how much longer the screws need to be to accomodate the R80SCT shoe.  Take this screw to the hardware store to get the proper threaded screw of the correct size. They are usually 8-32 or 10-24 screws. Important: Make sure the new screws do not extend further into the mirror cell than the ones that came out! Check your telescope’s manual.

Camera Tripod Adapter

This is a square base with a 1-4”-20 threaded hole on the bottom. It mounts to any standard camera tripod and supports the finderscope ring system. This is the easiest way to place your finderscope on a camera tripod for use as a small, wide field telescope. Note: will not work with the following ring systems: R050DA, R050FA, R050SCT, R080DA, R080FA, R080SCT.
