Stellarvue’s exclusive Deep Sky Multi-reticle Finder

This aluminum reflex finder features four different, selectable illuminated reticles for accurately positioning your telescope at night. This is not a simple rifle scope as the one below is. This model was designed specifically for astronomical use. The reticle brightness is significantly less than the stock finderscope below. It has a tinted window and a red reticle that dims to near zero with 8 levels of intensity. Uses a standard CR-2032 battery available at any drugstore. #F002 - $78

The Standard Multi-reticle finder

This is the standard aluminum reflex finder sold by others and usable in daylight or nighttime. While these are a little too bright for night time use, when using them for both day and night use, this is the one you need. Like the one above, this model allows you to change from a red dot to a brighter dot, crosshair or circle pattern. It has a tinted window and a bright red reticle with 8 brightness levels. Uses a standard CR-2032 battery available at any drugstore. #F002-MRF - $58

Universal base for Clamshell, Focuser, flat base or tube mounting

This base will mount the F2 or F2DS finder to any flat surface or any tube that is over 1” in diameter. It will also mount the F2 finder to our standard model dual speed focusers (not Feather Touch) or other focusers that have at least one threaded mounting hole. It is also designed to mount to the Stellarvue Clamshell. #F2A - $19

Dovetail mounting stalk

This is the high dovetail stalk for mounting the F2 or F2DS finder to various dovetail shoes on the market including the SV dovetail shoe. To see if this foot fits, measure the minimum and maximum width of your show. The width of the foot on the bottom of this stalk measures about 1.21” (31 mm) maximum width and tapers to a width of about .82” (21 mm). #F2D - $14

For mounting on hinged telescope rings

This is the F2D above mounted to a show base that attaches to the top of a telescope mounting ring that is 1” wide and has a center threaded hole that is either 1/4-20 or 6 mm. Quick release: The F2D stalk and finder is easy to remove for storage or transport.

For mounting on a tube or flat board
This is the F2D stalk above mounted to the FBA dovetail shoe. This shoe will attach to any flat surface or any round surface 4” or larger in diameter. This is also the base used for mounting the F2 finder on the 2.5” - 3.5” Stellarvue or Feather Touch Focusers. Will not mount to the 2” Feather Touch. Quick release: The F2D stalk and finder is easy to remove for storage or transport. #F2F - $33

For mounting on an SCT Telescope
This is the F2D stalk above mounted to the FBSCT dovetail shoe. This shoe will attach to the two threaded holes on an SCT that support their stock finder. It looks like the FBA base above but it is 1/2” wider. #F2SCT - $33
