APOCHROMATIC TRIPLET

Stellarvue’s flagship, the SV160 is our largest production telescope. The air spaced apochromatic triplet objective is made in the USA using Ohara FPL-53 glass. This telescope has the highest resolution and the largest image scale of any current Stellarvue refractor. The telescope comes in a Stardust White finish, has a retracting dew shield, 3.5” Feather Touch focuser with 2” and 1.25” adapters, aluminum mounting rings made on our CNC machines and our heavy duty C160 padded telescope case.

Stellarvue SFF160 large field flattener for astro-photography

The Stellarvue SV160R does not require a field flattener for most cameras (APS sized chip and smaller). For large sized chips (35 mm full frame or larger), this field flattener will flatten the field photographically to a size much larger than the largest chips on the market. Threads onto the focuser in place of the 2” compression ring back.
