Stellarvue 80mm Apo Triplet

This is the new standard Stellarvue 80 mm f-6 apo triplet. It uses the sharpest and highest contrast 80 mm apochromatic triplet lens we have ever offered. The focuser is our new, fully rotating, 2.5” dual speed SVF25 rack and pinion focuser. The focuser is threaded for photographic field flatteners sold below and has 1 1/4” and 2” compression ring visual adapters. This telescope also comes with heavy duty dual rings and a small hard case. The picture at the left shows the telescope, case and the optional TP14 Vixen rail available separately.

Stellarvue threaded field flattener for astrophotography

This system will flatten the field photographically to increase the in-focus image circle. Threads onto the rear of the 2.5” Stellarvue or Feather Touch focuser. Attaches directly to a DSLR camera with a standard t-ring. Also works with other ccd cameras using specific t-thread extensions. Call for more information.

Large Chip flattener for SV25 Focuser

This flattener threads to the rear of our new Stellarvue 2.5” focuser. A DSLR camera with t-ring threads to it. This provides a completely threaded mounting solution for larger chip cameras when used with the SV or FT 2.5” or focusers.

Large knobs allow for tension adjustment. Once the  tension is set, the user merely glides around the sky with a smooth and  stable mount that literally "disappears" in use. This system mounts the telescope closer to the center of the tripod providing better stability  and less damping time than single arm fork mounts. Celestron VX EQ Computerized EQ mount.

The new Advanced VX mount was specifically designed to provide optimum imaging performance for smaller telescopes. Now your smaller telescope (SV115 and smaller) can take advantage of all the features of our larger telescope mounts.
