It's very good. Much much better than the standard support that usually come with the telescopes. It's a very good upgrade because it will keep the finder scope in place and aligned, if adjustments are necessary during the observation it's very easy to do that

Would have given it 5 stars except for the base. The slots for the mounting screws were not quite wide enough for the holes on the telescope (Celestron 9 1/4 edgeHD) and the recessed channel too narrow for the screw heads on telescope. However, a small round and flat file took care of it. Other than that it's a very nice product with real steel nylon tipped screws for the finder scope. David: Are you saying that the channel is too narrow? Were you using button head screws? We are always seeking input like this so we can make sure what we make is hassle free so I would appreciate your input. Thank you. Vic Maris

I used these rings to mount the Stellarvue 10X60 RACI finderscope and it was an simple procedure. I like the dual rail locking knobs as well as the rail bolt that prevents the scope mount from sliding out the bottom of the dovetail. Finally the plastic tipped adjustment knobs are simple to adjust and don't mark up the scope body. Nice piece of kit.

Fits my F050G guide scope perfectly. Well crafted and solid. I moved the rings onto a longer vixen bar to mount on top of the clamshell rings of my imaging scope.

The screw tips are nylon to protect the finder. Very nice! The base that mounts to the scope has two slots along the centerline. When I tightened down on the screws to hold it down, the base bent along the centerline. I was able to straighten it out. Then I used the two additional screw slots arranged perpendicular to the centerline, and put the screws near the ribs along the outer edge. That fixed it and it works fine. Nevertheless, Stellarvue should reinforce the lengthwise slots to prevent this from happening.

I found these to be more veratile and sturdy than most, well made and fast delivery.
