2. 50 mm - 60 mm High Profile Rings

Never really liked the stock spring loaded type setup. This system is worlds ahead. Dovetailed straight into my Skywatcher 12" Truss Dobsonian setup with ease. I was concerned about the thumb screws scratching the barrel of the finder scope but was very pleased to see they are fitted with nylon tips on the end of each screw that eliminates any barrel marks. Aligning the finder scope to the main scope was a breeze. Perfectly centered objects with no flex / movement within the rings. Just simply more Stellarvue perfection!

Item arrived in 3 days, cross country... Sweet... I bought this guide scope cradle to replace the stock Orion, spring-loaded one that came with the SSAG. I was trying to eliminate as much flexure as possible. This works much better, but I still have a very small amount. The unit is OK, but I may need something a little more beefy. The rings tend to shift to the side if the scope is not centered in them. Overall, very happy for the price.

This product exceeded expectations. Very high quality metal construction and long, well machined alignment screws. Each screw has a nylon tip so you won't scratch your finder scope. Awesome product. Item arrived in a timely fashion and was well packaged. I purchased it to use with the Stellarvue 50mm finder scope but it will accommodate any similar scope. The workmanship is excellent. Thumbscrews are large and have plastic tips so you will not mar the barrel of the finder scope. The mount fits many dovetail shoes. I use the mount with a Vixen VMCL 200 and Apetura 12" dobsonian telescope.
