Product Description
High quality unit uses compression ring and has a tapered insert tube for better alignment. Provides images that are right side up and correctly oriented. Aperture is about 25mm. Fully multi-coated. The 1.25" female insert tube on this diagonal will accept 31.5mm or 1.24" of nose piece length before hitting the built in safety stop. If your 1.25" nose piece is longer than this specified distance, the nose piece will not fully insert, though this is rarely an issue.

Turns small refractor into spotting scope
Clean, clear image with my 70mm ED refractor and 25mm and 12mm eyepieces in daytime use, perfect for watching hummingbirds at the feeder. No distracting aberrations. I haven't tried it on stars.

45-DEGREE ERECTING PRISM - 1.25" - D1032
Outstanding for terrestrial use, even over 100x magnification. It looks very much like the equivalent 45° Erecting Prism diagonal from William Optics that's sold by other vendors, buy costs less from Stellarvue (imagine that!). I am very pleased with this Stellarvue 45° Prism. It performs much better than I expected. I've used it in an 80mm f/7 ED refractor as well as a 6" Mak-Cass, and the views are very good indeed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to use their scope for terrestrial viewing, and even astronomical viewing as well.

1.25" Erecting Prism D1032
Typical Stellarvue - precision design and flawless manufacturing execution! This erect image diagonal is fun to use at star gazes for observing the Moon and for terrestrial viewing with my 80mm EDT refractor . It's a nice complement to have in your eyepiece case . Thanks for the prompt delivery!

Keep looking "Up-Right!"
Hefty, wide field of view. A bit heavy. Even good for low-power Lunar viewing!
