    This is a 69 mm male to 54 mm male adapter that adds 3 mm of length. The 69 male thread is 5.5 mm long and the 54mm male thread is 3.5 mm long. 

     

    In order to use a 2" filter, you need to get the following adapter:
    63 mm Male to 48 mm Female Adapter and 2" Filter Holder - SFA-M63F48

      I love Stellarvue telescopes because they support their telescopes with all accessories needed for visual and astrophotography. These are high quality. Adapters, extension tubes etc.
