Product Description
The Stellarvue Telescope Handle allows users to pick up and move their telescopes in a more balanced and stable way. Our handle is made of solid aluminum and has a pull capacity far beyond the total weight of any of our telescopes. It mounts on both sides of the handle for greater security, a real plus when moving our larger instruments. The handle has a generous 5" opening and screws to two spring loaded rail shoes that attach to either a D rail (Losmandy Style) or V rail (Vixen style) rail. Simply mount either of these rails on top of your rings and this handle system will slide onto it. Tighten both knobs well and the handle will stay securely in place. This handle is easy to remove once the telescope is stored in its case.
All metal parts are cnc machined and black anodized. The picture above shows a V-rail for illustration purposes only. If you need a top rail for your telescope, make sure it will accommodate your current ring spacing. It is recommended you use the same type of rail on top that you use on the bottom. Visit our Rails Page to see our complete selection of mounting rails if you need one.

Telescope Handle
I purchased this telescope handle along with a 13” D rail help move my new SVX 180T telescope. It is well machined and the large knobs makes it easy to attach to the telescope. It is solid and makes lifting a heavy telescope much easier and safer. Helps a lot when mounting the telescope by oneself.
