Excellent for Mounting Red-Dot Finders
This low-profile base is just right for mounting the Stellarvue F002 MRF to an ADM 70-45 astronomical binocular. The slot is about 25mm long (and the base is roughly 15 mm high by 35 mm long by 20 mm wide). As usual for Stellarvue, the finish is excellent. (the F002 MRF is also the best available, I believe, as I tried various others firsthand).

Yes I am so happy to FINALLY have a great finder! I find the build quality to be top notch and installing was a snap. I do not find the lowest setting to be too bright for astronomy and the brightest setting is very visible in daylight. The up down right left adjustments are very positive and precise and adjusting them for the initial sight in did not disturb the image in the scope. I am using this on my Stellarvue 70ED and sighted it in using the scope at 140 magnification so the fact that the click adjustments did not move the scope which is mounted on a Dwarf Star mount says a lot.
