Deluxe Photographic Guide Scope: If you are in need of a photographic guide scope for your 130 - 180 mm refractor, this is a new 80 mm f-6 apo triplet guidescope with a 25 mm dual-speed focuser, adjustable guide rings and rail. This guidescope uses an 80 mm apo triplet objective using FCD100 (super low dispersion) glass. It makes an excellent guide scope, super finder scope or richest field telescope for wide field viewing. Since this does not use a Stellarvue SVX objective, we do not recommend this unit for use as a stand-alone, high resolution imaging telescope.
This guide scope comes with a smooth, dual-speed, 2 1/2" focuser with an M48 adapter, three M48 extension tubes and an M48 - M42 (T-2) threaded adapter. Merely screw your guide scope camera to the end of the extensions, focus and you are in business. Guidescope rings are large enough so the scope can be installed in the rings without disassembly.
Super-Finder: Purchase a visual back, 2" 90-degree erecting prism and one of our 2" Finderscope eyepieces to convert this instrument into an awesome super finder. These optional items will be available soon. Use this as the ultimate finder scope when you are using your telescope visually. This will serve a richest-field telescope in its own right and provide amazing wide field views to compliment the close-up views seen in the main telescope. To switch to guidescope mode, just unthread the 2" visual back, install the adapter, extension tubes and camera and your super finder turns back into the ultimate guide scope.

Objective Lens: 80 mm f-6 apo triplet objective using a super-low dispersion center element for high contrast, color-free performance. This is not a hand figured SVX objective. It uses a commercial-quality imported objective.

Dewshield: 4 1/8" in diameter and 5" long. Laser engraved with Stellarvue logo.
Focuser: 2.5" dual speed rack and pinion focuser. Focuser is fully rotating with an M63 threaded interior. M63 - M48 adapter is included.
Extensions and adapters: In addition to the M63 - M48 adapter on the focuser, this system comes with three M48 extensions. Two are 30 mm long and one is 20 mm long. An M48 - M42 (T-2) adapter is also included. Guide cameras thread directly to this T-2 adapter.
