Product Description
This adapter fits into the Losmandy Tripod or Losmandy Extension Tube with three 3/8-16 screws. The adapter has a recess on top that the Rowan mount fits into. There is a large knob under the adapter with a threaded 12 mm stud that protrudes through the adapter.
To install:
1. Make sure the Rowan mount is fitted with a 12 mm bottom bushing.
2. Place the Rowan mount into the recess and thread the stud into it.
3. Using the large knob, tighten the stud as mush as possible so the mount will not rotate in use.
4. Install the adapter into the Losmandy tripod top or extension tube if one is used.
This adapter will also work with the Stellarvue MEC-012 column. This will permit the use of the Stellarvue M002C mount head on a Losmandy Tripod. Make sure to tighten the large knob as mush as possible for the column cannot rotate in use.
