Product Description
This adapter fits into the Losmandy Tripod or Losmandy Extension Tube with three included 3/8-16 screws. The adapter has a recess on top that the Stellarvue MEC or Rowan Rowan columns fit into. There is a large knob under the adapter with a threaded 12 mm stud that protrudes through the adapter.
Installation:
Stellarvue M002C Mount Head:
1. Use the Stellarvue MEC012 Column. Attach the M002C mount head to the top of the column.
2. Place the bottom end of the column into the recess at the top of the adapter, lining up the 12 mm stud in the adapter to the 12 mm thread hole at the bottom of the column.
3. Using the large knob under the adapter, thread the column into the adapter and tighten completelty.
4. Place the adapter iinto the top of the Losmandy lightweight or heavy duty tripod. If the Losmandy extension tube it attached to the mount, place the adapter into the top of the extension tube.
5. Thread the three 3/8-16 screws securely into the mount top or extension tube.
Rowan Mount:
1. Make sure the extension column, Mount or Mount adapter is fitted with the 12 mm busing at the bottom.
2. Attach the Rowan mount (or Rowan extension column if used) into the recess at the top of the adapter, lining up the 12 mm stud in the adapter to the 12 mm bushing at the base of the mount or extension.
3. Using the large knob under the adapter, thread the Rowan moount or Rowan extension column into the adapter and tighten completely.
4. Place the adapter iinto the top of the Losmandy lightweight or heavy duty tripod. If the Losmandy extension tube it attached to the mount, place the adapter into the top of the extension tube.
5. Thread the three 3/8-16 screws securely into the mount top or extension tube.
