Product Description
This is a low profile, 2" threaded visual adapter for use with the former style SVQ100 astrograph which used the 3" Feather Touch rotating focuser. In this model the entire focuser rotated relative to the main tube. This low profile adapter is made for this former model.
The newer version of the SVQ100 has the rotator located behind the focuser and tube.
This adapter threads directly into the Feather Touch 3" focuser draw tube and accommodates 2" accessories using a compression ring clamp.

visual back for 3" feather touch focuser
I'd ordered a new visual back for the Feather Touch focuser on my SVX-140T, along with the associated adapter. I'd been using the SVX-140T for astrophotography and had misplaced the visual back. The new one arrived from Stellarvue quickly and works perfectly. To my chagrin though, when it arrived, I realized looking at it, that I instantly knew where my old one was located. I'd wrongly assumed that I was looking for a larger part that would go into the same external threads as the field flattener or the reducer, on the SVX-140T. Instead the visual back and adapter thread inside the back of the telescope, making them smaller than what I thought I was looking for. Oh well, it was a learning experience. Now I have two, so if I lose one of them then I'm still all set :)
