Optec ThirdLynx QuickSync FTX30 (for FeatherTouch Focusers)
Bought this for my SVX 102T-R with the FF/FR to help eliminate long night focus problems using NINA. After a modest learning curve the focus motor works extremely well doing focusing runs but have been unsuccessful using the temperature wizard because of weather conditions. Installation was easy, the clutch works great allowing manual use for outreach and visual but like some have said the scope now doesn't fit in the original case anymore with the motor attached. Thus I had to buy the new SKB case with the foam, yes it was expensive but it's a proper long term solution for the scope.

Well made. Easy to use.
I've just used it a couple nights and this is my first motorized focuser. It is solidly made. Installation was easy. With the software driver (ASCOM & FocusLynx Commander), once the COM port is defined correctly it works well with N.I.N.A. My only complaint is the USB COM port can change after reconnecting all your different USB cables to your computer (focuser, mount, cameras, ...). When this happens the focuser won't be found until the COM port setting is corrected. A nuisance, but easy to fix.
