Product Description
This 2" adapter does many things.
- It serves as a 2" visual back for focusers that have an M63 female thread by removing the M69-M63 adapter.
- It is a 360 degree rotator with nylon bearing surfaces.
- Unthread the 2" back and it will accept any accessory that attaches with the M54 X .75 thread.
- Unthread the first knurled ring and you have an M68 X 1 thread which accepts many flatteners including our current SFFX-1 flattener, our former SFF3 and SFF4 flatteners and other 2.5" flatteners that use the M68X1 thread.
Cnc machined and black anodized finish.
This rotator has three configurations. It is 20.75 mm in length when using the 68 mm female connection, 25.15 mm long connecting to the 54 mm female thread, and 37.25 mm long when using the 2" compression clamp. It has six nylon bearing screws, a Teflon thrust bearing and a thumb screw to lock rotation.

Perfect camera support
Bought this so I can screw the field flattener/reducer into the focuser, and not have to rely on the compression screws in the eyepiece holder. This eliminates any sag in the imaging train. Works great! It also allows me to rotate the camera to the desired orientation, without introducing any extra play or sag. Very pleased!

doesn't support long barlow
As I added on my recent SV80A the rotator, I cannot use my 2x Siebert barlow. I cannot focus with the 1.25'" stellarvue diagonal because the barlow is 116mm long. So I can focus only with a short barlow which is not the best choice.
