This submission was sent to us by Frank Dibbell. He wasn’t sure how it would turn out because it was imaged through smoke of the Delta Fire, but we think it turned out fantastic. To “Own the Night,” Frank used his SV70T. He also used a .08x reducer (336mm FL), and Canon 60Da DSLR on an Astrotrac Equatorial Tracking Platform. Frank took 30 exposures at 120 seconds each, and pre-processed them with Adobe Bridge. Image registration and stacking were combined in DeepSkyStacker using “Comet with Untrailed Stars” option. The final image was post-processed in Adobe Photoshop CS6.
