This submission was sent to us by Craig Goble. To “Own the Night” Craig used his SV105 Raptor APO Triplet. We are happy to share this outstanding image with our Stellarvue family. Craig set his Raptor on a Vixen Sphinx SXD with Deep Space Products Hypertune, with a Stellarvue SFFR102 0.8x focal reducer, and Baader UV/IR Cut/L-Filter 2”. He also used an Atik Infinity imaging camera and Atik Infinity’s software. Craig told us he’s very excited about the Atik Infinity camera, and says for those who have recently acquired a premium scope should try it as an alternative to lengthy post-processing of regular CCD images.
