Stellar Shot of the Week: February 5, 2021
"NGC 7635 - The Bubble Nebula (by Stan Smith)
Congratulations to this week's StellarShot of the Week, which comes to us from Stan Smith and his SVX130T. Stan's images always have such incredible consistency from one to the next, and it makes his image galleries some of the most pleasing and easy to scroll through of any we've seen. He always has a great color pallet, and this one is yet another for the collection! The bubble itself (an expanding shockwave inside a gas cloud) has incredible detail for a medium sized field of view, and the surrounding gas shows a wonderful mixture of razor sharp details and soft cloud formations. Thanks to Stan for his continued submissions to our weekly feature, but we definitely recommend you all check out the rest of his work on Astrobin (username "stan29693") or on Instagram (@stansmith3165).
Make sure to submit your own images to us directly by email, or by tagging them with #stellarvue and #stellarshot on social media
