Our latest Stellar Shot image was submitted to us by Charles Lillo. The Sombrero galaxy also known as Messier Object 104, M104, or NGC 4594, is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Virgo. It's easy to see how this deep sky target got its name. Charles used his SVA 130 EDT to “own the night” and capture this amazing image. We are honored to share this with you, and want to thank Charles for allowing us to do so. Image copyright of Charles Lillo www.theastrogeeks.com
