Tony Hallas caught this striking image of NGC 1333 (LBN 741) in Perseus using his SVX180T. Located near the southern constellation border of Taurus and Aries, this reflection nebula is about 1,000 light-years away from Earth and 15 light-years in diameter. Most of the Infrared emission occurs in the southern part of this nebula. Many of the stars seen in this region are in the pre-main sequence stage of their evolution.
