Nicola Beltraminelli took this stunning image of the Helix Nebula (NGC7293) using his SVX180T. This planetary nebula is located in the constellation Aquarius and lies about 650 light-years away, spanning about 2.5 light-years. The remnant central stellar core of this nebula is so energetic that it causes the previously expelled gasses to give off a bright fluorescent glow.
