    Product Description

     

    1.25” fully multi-coated planetary eyepiece. 55 degree field, 20 mm eye relief with a generous 20.5 mm eyelens. This eyepiece is sharp to the edge of the field. This is a great medium - high power eyepiece and a good compliment for the EP 4.9. This eyepiece has a retracting rubber eyecup, rubber grip, a tapered insert tube and is threaded for 1.25" filters.

      Awesome Optics

      There is a good and bad to this story- GOOD- The eyepiece is exceptionally well made. The optics are milled perfectly, there isn't a hint of aberration. The product is the epitome of American craftsmanship and worth every dollar. BAD- The eyepiece is so good I now realize what a crappy telescope I have and have to upgrade. Thanks Stellavue! I will return for a telescope and more eyepieces. Also, thanks for the filters from a previous purchase.
