Telescope: The SVX140T Apochromatic Triplet Refractor comes with your choice of focusers, 2" and 1.25" adapters, cnc machined mounting rings, and TP019 Losmandy rail. Learn more about this refractor and its accessories on the SVX140T page. Please note: The telescope pictured above has the Feather Touch 3.5" focuser upgrade included. While it is shown with the TP013A plate, in this system our larger TP019 plate is included as it works better with the Paramount MYT.
Optics: SVX series optics are rated at .98 Strehl or higher as measured on our Zygo Phase Shifting Interferometer in red light. To attain this level of optical accuracy, Stellarvue opticians meticulously figure objectives in our shop using the interferometer and a double pass autocollimater. Once we eliminate aberrations, we now center the optical correction in green light. SVX optics are more accurate than our former SV models. Each SVX series refractor comes with a Zygo interferometric test report taken in our shop documenting the accuracy of your objective. To see part of this process in action, watch our YouTube video.
Paramount MYT Mount. Originally priced at $7295, this is the earlier version of the MYT (not the new series 6) and we are offering it for $2000 off in this system which is below our cost. The TP019A is also included in this package. This offer is limited to the two MYT's we have remaining in stock, when they are sold the offer expires. If you are serious about astro-imaging, you should consider this mount.
Select Tripod. The telescope and mount come without tripod in case you prefer another option we do not offer. We offer three options: Buy this system without a tripod, add the Paramount mini pier or the Losmandy heavy duty tripod with adapters. Simply make you selection at the top of this page and order.
