Product Description
The rail is slightly longer than the TP14 plate. The TP10 is 7 7/8" long. This is a lightweight Vixen style rail that is recommended for our 102 mm and larger refractors when a Vixen style rail is needed. This includes the M2 and Celestron VX mounts.

Solid Quality
Not much to say, other than it's a machined aluminum vixen plate. Fit and finish are what you would expect from Stellarvue.

SV 8' Dovetail
Rated 4 stars as the slotted end could be a bit longer....there's only about 1/4" of play there. Would like to see this with at least a 1" slot....which would provide additional flexibility for less than 8" ring spacing.

It doesn't come with a scope.
I ordered an SV102T scope and while waiting ordered this bar to go with it. It's about the only one I've seen whose ridges are flattened a bit to better mate with the telescope rings and keep everything in line. Nice touch! It looks well made. I think it will work well. The telescope wasn't in the box with it. :)

Vixen mounting plate review
This is the 2nd or 3rd mounting plate I have bought from Stellarvue. Quality is excellent with several mounting hole options already provided, one of which is threaded. Came with both metric & SAE cap screws for mounting.
